Kitty with the Pilategirls in Palm Desert

Kitty loves her girlfriends. The infamous Pilatesgirls and Kitty decided that for our friend Jen's 40th birthday we would celebrate in Palm Desert. What did Kitty and the girls do? Duh...eat, eat, eat, shop, and hang out by the pool. Our Hong Kong-based Pilatesgirl Sheryl surprised us and joined us in spirit for Sunday brunch. Kitty and the omelette chef became friends. Happy Birthday Jen!

Kitty in Anzo Borrego

Kitty loves Anzo Borrego in the spring. Luckily this year we got enough rain to get a beautiful wildflower showing in the desert. We made it our new adventure to find the elusive desert lily. Three years ago was the last time that there was enough rain to produce a good wildflower showing, and we didn't see the desert lily. This year we were determined not to leave until we saw one in bloom. After lots of hard work and being covered in yellow pollen, we found it. Don't we look happy and excited. I am sure people thought we were freaks because we were so excited to find a flower.

Kitty in Jerome

Kitty was definitely creeped out in Jerome, AZ. This old copper mining ghost town is situated on top of a hill that is over 5000 ft above sea level. As we were driving up the winding road, the houses looked as if they were going to tumble off the hill. We had a wonderful dinner at the Asylum at the Jerome Grand Hotel. I can understand why so many come up here for ghost tours. There is a erie feeling about the whole town. We heard that during the Vietnam war the lights on the buildings of Jerome spelled out WAR when looked at from below at night.

Hello Kitty in Arizona

Kitty has decided that Sedona is the best place to see the red rocks. We drove through Kingman and got to experience Cracker Barrel for breakfast. In Sedona, we hiked to Bell and Courthouse Rock and went to the Chapel of the Red Rocks.
